LCC Funding Threatened in Proposed Federal Budget – Voice Your Support to Congress

The administration’s proposed budget calls for eliminating funding for the Department of Interior’s Landscape Conservation Cooperative program. Losing funding for the 22 Landscape Conservation Cooperatives would be an enormous setback to landscape conservation progress and partnerships across the U.S. Individuals interested in voicing their support for the continued funding of the Landscape Conservation Cooperative program are encouraged to make their voices heard in Congress:

  1. Add the name of your organization to the Appropriations Subcommittee Letter as it will be shared with Hill staff many times after the Committee deadline: email Jad Daley
  2.  Contact your congressional representatives to ask them to communicate the importance of the Landscape Conservation Cooperatives to the House and Senate Appropriations Subcommittees on Interior, Environment and Related Agencies:
